Waste Water
Overview
The wastewater treatment department, also known as a sewage or wastewater treatment plant, is responsible for removing pollutants from wastewater before it’s discharged into the environment. This involves a multi-stage process using physical, chemical, and biological treatments to purify the water. The department also manages the collection system, ensuring wastewater is safely transported to the treatment facility.
