NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Hoosick Falls will hold a public hearing during its Regular Board meeting on Wednesday April 8th at 6:00 p.m. at the Hoosick Falls Highway Garage, 7 Waterworks Road, Hoosick Falls, New York, regarding the 2026-2027 Tentative Budget as well as the following proposed local laws:
- Local Law C: a local law authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law 3-c. This does not require an override, but needs to be started before budget completion.
- Local Law D: A local law disallowing “junk vehicles” in the Village of Hoosick Falls under certain circumstances and establishing penalties for offenses.
- Local Law E: a local law which established a vacant and abandoned building registry.
- Local Law F: a local law for to amend Property Maintenance Code. This is a minor change to the noticing requirements of the current law.
All interested persons will be heard at the Public Hearings.
